Cada volume contém informação sobre os artistas em inglês e alemão, e iconografia da época, como posters e capas de discos. Encartados, estão 4 CDs remasterizados com uma surpreendente seleção musical. Através de seus 25 títulos, organizados por ano de 1948 a 1957 podemos acompanhar o hit-parade mundial, e as carreiras de grandes artistas como Bing Crosby, Sammy Davis Jr, Harry Belafonte, Frank Sinatra, Fats Domino, Dorys Day, Dinah Shore, Nat King Cole, Etta James, Petula Clark, e os então jovens Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Little Richard e Johnny Cash.O ano de 1954 pertenceu, em sua maioria, aos artistas de Jazz, Rhythm & Blues, Blues e Soul. Nesse momento, Ken Colyer, Dave Bartholomew, LaVern Baker e Chris Barber, começam a brilhar. Inicia-se então, uma nova forma de Jazz, mais moderna. Porém, Resemary Clooney foi a real sensação daquele ano. A cantora chega ao número um das paradas, americana e inglesa, com This Ole House.
